1. Book update/reading assignment update. See PDF link.
2. Name Review / Discussion of reading: we will take notes on two important passages from the book in class, then you will join with two other students. You will exchange names and email (or Facebook, whatever) with those students. The three of you will agree on the main points from the paragraph that you would reproduce in a summary (notes are fine). I will then call on you to introduce each other and then give your main ideas/summary (for introductions, we'll need first name, intended major, and ultimate career goal).
3. Brief introduction to college essay - see They Say I Say - see ENG 101 paragraph - compose brief response related to diagnostic from Monday with rules in mind.
